INSTALLATION: 'ELIOTT'S DREAMS'

H 80” x L 80” (2mx2m) Composition: Transparent fishing line, cotton ball, white circle, mirrors circle, white feather, silver glitter, aluminum. This installation is like a “Indian-America dream catcher’’ who protect my nephew Eliott from having nightmares. The dream catcher is originally from Native American Culture and has been lost in the turmoil of cultural mixing and destruction that followed on the heels of the European invasion. They were made of feather, fabric, jewelry, cord and symbols objects in each of the bedrooms of their children to help them to have beautiful dreams and fight against nightmares.
