The publishing corporations (essentially owned by men) decide the cover content and are looking at making more money by introducing insecurity towards women to sell more advertising. After 3 minutes looking at women magazines, 70%25 of them felt guilty, depressed or shameful. Women who are insecure about themselves are more likely to buy beauty products, new clothes or diet aids. Many readers of these magazines are impressionable teenage girls and young woman. These women magazines are obsolete we should have unisex magazines. Women should really stop buying these types of publication!
