The artist hands out this text to the people about the origins of marriage.
The origin of marriage is not love, contrary to what everybody believes. In the twelfth century in Europe,a monk wrote about demographic statistic his own village and encountered some problems because everybody was copulating with everybody else and nobody knew their real descendants. The monk thus decided to influence their sexual conduct by ordering them to copulate with the same person for their entire lives otherwise they would end up in hell. This allowed him to finally complete his demographic survey. At this time, few people knew how to read and write, so they
believed him. To make sure they would remember, he ordered them to go to church, swear before God, and that is how the wedding was created.*
For the rest of the world, it happened earlier.
In nomadic cultures, women were in short supply, so it was difficult for a man to find a woman that he liked. When he found one, he wanted to possess her with or without her consent, creating a forced union.**
Until the twentieth century, most women did not have the right to work, so the only alternatives at their disposal were either to accept a marriage or to become a prostitute.
It was almost the same thing.
Our society has kept this strange way of bonding people together. Love has nothing to do with religion, or government, and still less to do with a signature on a piece of paper.
If you have children, you can give them the surname of both parents. You do not need to be married.
Follow your instincts; do not adhere to the “sheep movement” of our social system.
Girls’wedding toys represent marriage like a “dream come true”. There are no boys’ toys about marriage.
For many girls, marriage is synonymous with security, even if they do have the right to work.
IF YOU GET MARRIED, YOU ARE A VICTIM OF OUR SOCIAL SYSTEM, AND MARRIAGE IS ANOTHER WAY FOR SOCIETY TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE.
